Often times you here of pundits like Rush Limbaugh speak of the zero sum game. Life is not a zero sum game they say. If all would pursue money and profits in the capitalistic ideal then all would be prosperous. Clearly such need to think about it some more. True their is enough resources in the world to satisfy all but their is not enough money for everybody to be a millionaire although Obama is making a Herculean effort to do just that.
Any time money is involved it is always a zero sum game. The books must balance or you go to jail. If you did print enough money for everybody to be a millionaire then the economy would crash with spiraling inflation. With money, which is in essence capitalism, you will have winners and losers and sometimes it's the lucky and not the deserving. It is human nature to hoard it stingily and greedily which admittedly has its origin in the survival instinct.
Don't think I have anything against hard work, self reliance and prosperity because I consider myself the poster boy for this. It is just anytime money is part of your prosperity equation then you have that one more big hurdle to leap over.
On this note I want to announce that I'm beginning a serious of posts from time to time that will highlight the dark truths of capitalism so as to educate the masses on the superiority of the entirely new Messian Utopian trade concept. Their is a flaw that keeps capitalism, socialism and communism from ever achieving the results that their visionaries have desired. That flaw is money itself and the inefficiencies in the exchange thereof. Stay informed.
